When it is appropriate

- Ongoing difficulty with daily movement, walking, dressing or work tasks
- Stiffness or contracture following surgery or a fracture
How it works here
- The doctor examines you, checks range of motion and reviews how earlier treatment went.
- If the criteria are met, manual therapy is prescribed.
- One therapist treats one patient for 30 minutes or more.
- Pain, range of motion and function are reassessed to decide whether to continue.
What it is not
This is not a massage service, and it is not prescribed for general fatigue or relaxation. If what you are looking for is a massage, a licensed massage shop is the right place and we will say so.
Manual therapy is provided under Korea's managed-benefit rules, so the price depends on your insurance status. Reception confirms the amount for your situation before treatment begins.

Is manual therapy covered by insurance?
It falls under Korea's managed-benefit system, with a defined fee and patient share for insured patients. If you do not hold Korean national health insurance, reception will confirm your amount before treatment.
Can I book manual therapy directly?
No. It requires a doctor's examination and prescription first. That examination is part of the same visit.
How often can I have it?
Generally up to twice a week, within an annual limit, unless the examination shows a clear exception such as post-surgical contracture.
