A simple guide
before you come.
Walk-ins are welcome, but sending the form ahead means we can set aside enough time for a proper explanation in English.
What to bring
- Passport or photo identification
- Alien registration card, if you have Korean national health insurance
- Previous MRI, X-ray or medical reports — photographs on your phone are fine
- A list of current medication and any allergies
- Your departure date, if you are visiting Korea
How the visit runs
- Send the appointment form, or call. We confirm a time.
- Register at reception with your ID.
- The doctor examines you and explains the likely cause in English.
- X-ray or ultrasound is used where it will change the decision.
- Options and costs are explained, then treatment is carried out if you agree.
- English documents for your insurer are prepared before you leave.

Frequently asked questions
Do you speak English?
Yes. Dr. Eugene Jung explains your examination, diagnosis and treatment options directly in English. You do not need to bring an interpreter. Front-desk staff speak limited English, so registration and payment may use a translation app.
Do I need an appointment?
No — walk-ins are accepted during opening hours. Booking is better, because it lets us set aside extra time to explain things properly rather than rushing you.
Do I need a referral from another doctor?
No. In Korea you can come directly to a clinic like ours without a referral from a GP or family doctor.
How long does a visit take?
A first visit with examination usually takes 20 to 40 minutes. If imaging and a procedure are both needed on the day, allow about an hour.
Can I get documents in English for my insurance?
Yes. English medical certificates, itemised receipts, outpatient visit certificates and procedure confirmations are issued, normally on the day. Tell reception at check-in which you need.
What if I have Korean national health insurance?
Bring your alien registration card. Consultation, X-ray, physical therapy and a number of procedures are covered, and you pay only the patient share — the same as Korean patients.
I am only in Korea for a few days. Is treatment worth it?
For acute pain — a strained back, an inflamed heel, a locked neck — a single visit can help, and we will say honestly whether it will. For a chronic problem we will tell you that too, and give you documentation your own doctor can work from.
Do you treat children?
We treat school-age children and adolescents for sprains and musculoskeletal pain. For infants, toddlers and developmental conditions, please see a paediatrician or paediatric orthopaedic specialist.
Is there parking?
Yes. The building has a car park and two hours are free when you receive treatment. Ask reception to validate before you leave.
What if my symptoms are urgent?
For a suspected fracture, major trauma, chest pain, sudden weakness or numbness, high fever or loss of bladder or bowel control, go to a hospital emergency department. Dial 119 for an ambulance, or 1339 for the emergency medical information line, which offers English support.
